Bio:
Jason Van Meter began playing guitar professionally in 1986
with a local blues band called
DC & the Continentals. Since that time, he has performed
with a variety of musicians under many different monikers
but he's most known and associated with his band Electric
Evergreen, which he co-founded in 1991. Some of the groups
that he has worked with include: Phantazmal Minds, Mystic
Sizzle, The Flaming Resin Balls, Acoustic Evergreen, The Nines,
The Black River Bluegrass Band, Queen Bee & Skeeter, Mammal
Toe, The Van Meter Trio, Mystery Machine, The Jerks, and Evergreen.
Based on Yeti and the Big Feat, Van Meter was invited to perform
two sets of original music at the Rock-n-Roll
Hall of Fame in May of 2000.In November of 2005, Van Meter and friends performed at the
House of Blues
for a CD release party for Metanoia.
Van Meter
has written a growing catalog of over 100 original compositions
that are available on CD within the following list of releases,

1998, Van Meter received an Associate of Arts degree from Lorain County
Community College. In 2000, Jason earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal
Studies with a minor in Psychology and in 2007, he graduated with a Master's of Education degree from Cleveland State University.
